6 weekly sessions, online learning a boundaries map that will create stronger foundations for your relationships, self esteem and how you express yourself in the world.

Healthy boundaries are absolutely fundamental to the well being and longevity of any relationship.
It is through our boundaries that we know ourselves as separate human beings. It is this separateness that allows the flourishing of meaningful and authentic connection to occur. Poor boundaries leads to either being enmeshed with others on one extreme, or complete disconnection on the other extreme.
Without healthy boundaries you are liable to:
Get easily triggered or upset by those that you are the closest to
Find that you need to pull away, or push others away, in order to feel space
Become fixated on romantic partners, unable to stop thinking about them all the time
Slip into blaming others for how you feel or how you are behaving
Take responsibility for things that you are not responsible for, and find it difficult to be responsible for things that you are
Try to fix or change others when they act in ways that feel uncomfortable to you
Struggle to identify or ask for things that you really desire
When others criticise or offer feedback you either become defensive, or really internalise it as if it’s true
Boundaries are often confused with making requests and letting others know what they can or cannot do around you, yet the reality is that boundaries are much deeper than this. When boundaries are embodied it becomes inherent and natural to be more fully yourself in relationships. Outside situations are increasingly triggering, it becomes easier to be vulnerable and share yourself, and the people around you relax and become increasingly comfortable in your presence.
This is a "Cycle" rather than "Course" meaning it will be lighter touch in content than a course and the focus is upon starting to practice new boundaries, and through continuity of practice you will see concrete results. Cycles repeat more frequently than courses and their intent is to create a community of practice for people to develop real embodiment over time.
Over this 6 week practice cycle, we will cover:
The differences between healthy boundaries, boundarylessness and walls
The difference between needs, wants, relationship needs, deal breakers and limits
Enmeshment versus genuine intimacy
How to develop and maintain boundaries at the different domains of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms
How to hear someone's reality, even their judgements of you with receptivity and sovereignty
Sense making for contexts when you feel guilty feelings to discern if you have reason to feel it and otherwise how to resolve the guilt feelings
Tools to have relationships be the opportunity for growth that they can be, rather than a trigger fest!

Facilitated by Prem Kalpa & Khali Young of Triibe, this 6 week Cycle will be part psychoeducation and part experiential practices.

This course will be entirely online.
We are grateful for COVID and the new regulations as they had us inquiring into how we might offer the original in-person weekend retreat in a structure that is in alignment with the present health restrictions for indoor events.
As we sat with this and toiled with different ideas, we birthed this structure and we love, love, love it!
Here is why....
We have always wanted to create a course where there are lots of touch-in points for the group, where the content is delivered at a pace that allows for spaciousness and integration.
We have used this opportunity to curate such a structure. One that gives room for integration and incremental deepening, with 8 sessions over 2 weeks. We figure because you will not have to travel, that 8 sessions over 2 weeks will be much more feasible for you to attend.
We are long-time devoted meditation and embodiment practitioners. In the same way to going to the gym and working out once every so often reaps low reward compared to consistently showing up, it is also true for these types of practices.
These forms of practice develop an awareness that is rooted in the body and expand awareness into levels of consciousness beyond the ordinary range of attention.
The benefits of consistently showing up FAR outweighs the allure and comfort of mindless living, and the distraction of day to day demands, in which we intermittently forget who we are and what we came here for.
We know that creating habits can be challenging, as can be breaking not so good ones. These challenges are more easily surpassed within a group practice field. In this journey we are creating a container that holds accountability, while offering play and encouragement. We want participants experiencing being part of a collective, larger than themselves, that supports advancing past any habits of distraction, self-avoidance or day to day busyness. The group will support each other in achieving their goals and moving through resistance to consistently showing up for ourselves.
We want so much for people to experience tangible changes in the areas of their relationships in which they feel stuck. We realise that creating new modes of relating to ourselves and each other requires that we practice new skills with consistency. With consistent practice a person comes to feel competent and the skills feel natural and not like skills at all anymore.
We have learned that no deep, long lasting change happens quickly, rather the opposite, it occurs incrementally over time. Thus our intention for this journey and hope for the participants is that, with a longer container, each person will have the space and time to experience changes within themselves that are long lasting and extend beyond the 2 weeks we are in the container together.

Required In Your Own Time:
20-30 mins daily guided meditation to be done at whichever time you choose (we will provide them)
5-10 mins structured ritual upon awakening and before sleep (this will be made clear in Immersion 1)
