CONNECTION IS THE SWEET, SOULFUL EXPERIENCE OF BEING SEEN AND MET IN DEEP PRESENCE WITH ANOTHER.
GENERATING CONNECTION AT WILL IS THE SKILL MOST DESIRED, ALSO THE MOST ELUSIVE, AND OFTEN THE LEAST UNDERSTOOD.
A weekend packed with experiential learning through the practice of “Circling” to share your deepest self vulnerably and build meaningful experiences with those around you. You will leave with new distinctions that help you to become an empowered, elegant, and embodied communicator.
If you attend, you will learn ::
About the practice of “Circling” - so you can attend Thursday night practice evenings (if you want to) and feel greater agency to play, reveal yourself, inquire safely and empathically with others while being vulnerable and authentic
Comfort in vulnerability - know how, what and when to share
The power of curiosity - never be lost for words again
Impact and intimacy - skillfully let others know how you really feel
To feel more deeply the subtle dynamics of what cultivates intimacy - so you can choose when you want to experience more in your relating
Self- Circling - A practice that will have your awareness of your inner landscape become more alive and nuanced. This is a form of the Circling practice we delve deeper into in the Foundations course, this weekend we will introduce Self-Circling as a way to connect in and dialogue with your self from a position of curious inquiry to identify needs, wants, emotions and sensations.
TRIIBE CIRCLING
What is it?
Circling as a practice was not founded by Triibe. We have Guy Sengstock and his passion for transformation, connection and authenticity to thank for that. Now people all over the world are learning and engaging in this transformative practice. There are different ‘schools’ of Circling each with their own flavours.
Over the years at Triibe we have developed our own Circling style and form, influenced by current psychological research on neuroscience, attachment bonding and developmental trauma.
Some of the works that have influenced our practice are Bessel Van Der Kolk and Pat Ogden on trauma, embodied expression and self regulation, Robert Kegan a constructive developmentalist and Integral Theory , Terry Real and Pia Melody on boundaries, intimacy and self esteem and Dr Femhi the originator of Open Focus Meditation and pioneer of Neurofeedback.
What does it look like?
It can look like group meditation; deep and meaningful conversation; embodied expression (e.g. with voice and movement) and creative play.
